- There is a great demand for foster families in the local area. We at Health Connect America (HCA) are currently searching for loving, caring, and stable families who are willing to open their homes to children in need of a loving and stable environment. Our program is a licensed child placing agency through the Virginia Department of Social Services that works with children in state custody from birth to eighteen years of age. Foster parent training, guidance, additional pay, 24/hr support, and more is provided to our foster families. We are asking you to help spread awareness about the need for foster families in your local community.  Here are some ways you can help: Take a photo of the attached flyer and share via social media; display flyer at community centers, churches, place of employment, public bulletin boards, etc.; hold a discussion with friends, family, and community members about this great need in your local area (word of mouth);  invite us to present at your local community gatherings; learn more at healthconnectamerica.com; reach out to your local foster parent recruiter/trainer (R/T) to learn more about becoming a foster parent.
