The Brothers Grimm Spactaculathon - presented by the O'Connell Players at Bishop O'Connell High School. The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more obscure stories. This wild, free-form comedy includes lots of audience participation and madcap fun.  Grimm fairy tales are similar to the original stories and suggested for ages 12 and up. "Love Reveled" Young Adult Retreat  - All young adults are invited to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine on Saturday, November 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for a retreat titled Love Revealed. This retreat is an immersion into two of Saint John Paul II’s inseparable teachings on Love: Theology of the Body and Divine Mercy. The retreat will assist participants to answer the perennial questions of the heart – Who am I? Tea and a Rosary for Mothers - On Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9:45 am to 12:00 pm, we're excited to invite all women ages 18 and up to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine for a gathering focused on the gift of motherhood. As always, a light breakfast and babysitting for children ages 2-12 will be provided, plus we will continue to offer the opportunity for Confession (take advantage of this while your kids are in babysitting!) and the Rosary with meditations. Divine Mercy Care's 2018 Blooms of Joy Gala - The pro-life non-profit Divine Mercy Care will be holding its annual Gala on November 10th at 6pm at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel.  The Gala helps support DMC’s mission to advance pro-life healthcare through programs that serve, inspire, and unify.  DMC’s primary program is support for Tepeyac OB/GYN, one of the largest private pro-life OB/GYNs in the nation.  Gala tickets are $150 for individuals before Oct 10th and $175 starting Oct 11th.
