The St. Catherine of Siena Choir is made up of some of the finest professional singers in the Washington, DC area. The Choir is committed to preserving the historical traditions of the Catholic Church's musical heritage. The centerpiece of the musical life of the parish is the 12:00 PM High Mass on Sunday, for which the choir sings the Ordinary of the Mass in Latin as well as plainchants and motets drawn from the vast choral heritage of the last six hundred years of sacred music.

The St. Catherine of Siena Treble Choir is open to girls in 3rd grade and above, boys with unchanged voices in 3rd grade and above, and adult women. Treble Choir sings at the 10:00 AM Sunday mass once per month from September through June. Rehearsals are held the preceeding Sunday from 1:15 - 2:00 PM. The choir also provides music for Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday, with additonal rehearsals beforehand to match the greater amount of music. Jerry Kavinski joined St. Catherine of Siena Church as the Assistant Director of Music in September 2009, and he currently serves as the Director of the Music Program and conducts both choirs. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Catholic University of America, and a Master's Degree in Choral Conducting from George Mason University. His career as a liturgical musician began early on in his life when, at the age of seven, he was the cantor at his own first communion mass. Prior to arriving at St. Catherine of Siena, Mr. Kavinski served for six years as a choir member and cantor at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.
